At the core of WIT is the gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet needs and also share the gospel. We build up specialized ministries and we coach pastors on missions.
World InTent offers tools and methodologies to professional pastors and lay people to preach the Gospel quickly, efficiently, and effectively in any culture, city, and country.
The tools and methodologies are effective in any setting but World InTent is specific in maximizing impact through unity with the local churches in hopes of executing a plan with discipline and prayer, to reach an entire city, within a specific period of time.
The goal is to have every person in the city hear a clear and specific Gospel message from a neighbor, within one month and have those people that accept Christ attend a bible study or other group of believers who follow Jesus together.
World InTent only partners with coalitions of Churches committed to working together, cross denominationally and inter denominationally.
World InTent does not require 100% participation but will work with early adopting coalitions that keep the door open for later adopters.
World InTent works behind existing local churches and the indigenous body of Christ building the local church and honoring local pastors and their wives.
God has equipped every city with all of the resources needed to reach the entire city.
World InTent honors local culture and appreciates the way the universal Gospel message manifests in and through local cultures.
We engineer multiple ministry platforms in global arenas.
With programs like Una Voz, RD in Latin America, we equip the local church to reach their communities.
WIT is a three phase build out with the following processes:
Identifying the communities and meeting with local leaders
Experiment with strategies using local resources and capabilities that will empower the local church to mobilize transformational movements in their cities.
Capacity building while honoring the local culture.
Our goal is to see a paradigm shift in the way people view Missions. World InTent seeks to help Believers be more intentional about sharing the gospel. We want the unwilling to become willing.
Lead By Example
At WIT, we aspire to lead by following God’s word, holding tight to verses like the ones listed below:
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14 (ESV)
“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,”
John 17:20 (ESV)
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.”
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God ,to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:1-2 (ESV)
“If I speak in tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away…So now faith, hope, and love bide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”
1 Corinthians 13 (ESV)
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:20 (ESV)
“For He says, ‘In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you. Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
2 Corinthians 6:2 (ESV)
“For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 1:5 (ESV)
